About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Account Executive to join our team at Canon Solutions America, Inc. in New York, NY. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for selling Canon's hardware and software technology-based solutions within an assigned account list.

This role requires you to live within a reasonable commuting distance to New York, NY to adequately execute your job responsibilities.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Develop strategies to penetrate accounts with key decision makers within assigned account list, focusing on placing Canon equipment and solutions in new accounts.
  • Report customer activity to management, identifying customer requirements, competitive trends, and changing environments.
  • Develop strategic plans to address customer requirements on a local basis, including short-term and long-term goals.
  • Provide marketing, technical, and administrative support to named accounts' internal departments to ensure outstanding relations and excellent customer support.
  • Develop plans to introduce and place Canon technology, service, software, and 3rd party solutions to address customer requirements.
  • Establish high-level relationships with the customer base to enhance long-term working partnerships.
  • Gain new market share through strategic prospecting and meeting customer requirements by utilizing all available resources efficiently.
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, plus 35 years of related experience. You should have a strong background in office technology, business-to-business, and outside sales experience.

You should possess excellent communication skills, including the ability to build solid working relationships, and an interest in learning new technology in an evolving industry.

You should also be able to work autonomously and have excellent time management skills, with some travel required within a local market.
