Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Business Services Specialist to join our team at CASE Credit Union. As a Business Services Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our members by opening, monitoring, and servicing business accounts. You will also prepare and file various documents, open mail, and perform miscellaneous clerical functions as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assume responsibility for the effective performance of assigned clerical, secretarial, and account processing functions.
  • Open, monitor, maintain, and service business accounts.
  • Monitor and compile adequate supplies of business service offerings for branches.
  • Order checks for businesses, send out merchant supplies, and mail merchant statements.
  • Assist with the preparation of annual loan reviews under $50,000.
  • Track and ensure appropriate business account opening information is received from branches in a timely manner.
  • Order checks for businesses, send out merchant supplies, process payment history requests, payoff letter requests, lien releases, and business member/department mailing needs.
  • Process invoices and GL reimbursements.
  • Scan, organize, and file various forms of documentation.
  • Assist and compile information related to member research requests.
  • Maintain, organize, update, and prepare files for internal audit business files.
  • Prepare appropriate vendor reviews.
  • Monitor negative accounts and assist resolutions in business collections.
  • Process flood certification, 4506-T requests, business credit report requests, approve RDC requests.
  • Ensure mortgage recordings and final title policies are received.
  • Send out adverse actions for loan denials.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Basic knowledge of business account services and procedures.
  • Familiarity with business loan programs and service requirements.
  • Familiarity with general loan documentation.
  • Prior experience helpful, particularly in a financial environment.
  • Accurate and attentive to detail.
  • Project management skills and well-organized.
  • Strong typing abilities.
  • Ability to assist, direct, and coordinate others.
  • Able to use computer, adding machine, copy machine, and basic business equipment.
  • Maintains high degree of confidentiality.
  • Good interpersonal and public relations skills.
  • Solid analytical, creative, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Able to work well independently.
  • Use of Excel, Word, and Adobe Acrobat.
