The RoleThe Relationship Manager is a key member of our Sales organization, working closely with cross-functional partners to drive customer success. This role is responsible for owning relationships with assigned accounts, with a focus on retaining existing paid footprints and ensuring long-term success. As a Relationship Manager, you'll be measured on book of business retention and predictable renewals.
Key Responsibilities- Founding member of the Relationship Management Team: You'll be part of a new team at Notion, shaping the future of our customer success initiatives.
- First Point of Contact: You'll be the primary point of contact for customer needs, summarizing key learnings for leadership teams and forecasting a healthy and predictable revenue business for your territory.
- Meaningfully shape our future product: As you engage with customers, you'll gain valuable insights to inform product development and drive customer satisfaction.
- Elevate your skills as we tackle impactful challenges: We're a high-growth company with a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Cross-functional partnership: You'll work closely with the CSM team to identify at-risk accounts, develop strategies to mitigate risk, and ensure customer satisfaction and renewal.
- 5+ years of experience in account management or renewal management, preferably in a high-volume environment.
- Ability to think systematically and operationally, with a focus on identifying and analyzing processes and workflows to service a large set of customers.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding renewal targets and revenue objectives.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to communicate trends, risks, and recommendations to leadership and cross-functional teams to adjust operational strategies and lead the direction of new retention initiatives.
