Based at our state-of-the-art Casper Construction Facility, a Construction Technician is responsible for constructing header houses, installing metering equipment and electrical cables, fabricating sub-assemblies and assemblies, and building piping headers, fusing polypipe, gluing PVC piping, and connecting metal piping components.

Employees at this level may have limited or no directly related work experience, though familiarity with basic tools and equipment and basic maintenance skills are a plus (drills, saws, grinders, forklifts). A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Ur-Energy is a leading innovator in the uranium industry, operating the Lost Creek mine in south-central Wyoming. Our production operations began in 2013, and we have produced approximately 2.7 million pounds of U3O8. Our second Wyoming uranium project, Shirley Basin, has all major regulatory authorizations and is ready for construction.
