Job Overview

City Wide Facility Solutions is seeking a dedicated 2nd Shift Facilities Manager to oversee operations during evening hours.

The Facilities Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring operational excellence, enhancing client satisfaction, and collaborating effectively with Independent Contractors (IC). This position requires the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team across various environments such as industrial, commercial, healthcare, and retail facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Foster and maintain strong working relationships with Independent Contractors (IC) and in-house staff by clearly communicating client priorities and collaborating on solutions.
  • Assess work scopes and ensure quality assurance to retain current clients and attract new business.
  • Engage with the Facility Services Manager daily to address urgent matters, including providing a nightly summary of operations.
  • Recommend IC work assignments, ensuring adherence to client standards and company policies, and take action if service level agreements are not met.
  • Oversee inspections, manage customer feedback, address client requests, and provide special attention to VIP clients.
  • Implement City Wide's operational policies, including the New-Start Policy and Customer Complaint Policy.
  • Ensure compliance with client policies, proper use of approved cleaning tools and equipment, and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications

Essential Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience in the commercial cleaning industry.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Innovative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and internet applications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual in Spanish.
  • Experience in a supervisory role.

Compensation and Benefits
