K5 Hospitality is seeking a talented Executive Chef to lead the culinary team at one of our acclaimed restaurant concepts in Atlanta, GA. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for crafting and implementing delectable menus, overseeing kitchen operations, and ensuring exceptional food preparation and presentation.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and direct all aspects of food preparation and culinary activities within the kitchen.
  • Refine existing menus or conceive innovative new ones that meet the highest quality standards.
  • Accurately estimate food requirements and manage food/labor costs effectively.
  • Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to established procedures.
  • Coordinate equipment purchases and repairs to maintain optimal kitchen functionality.
  • Recruit, train, and manage a skilled kitchen team to support the restaurant's operational needs.
  • Promptly address any arising problems or customer complaints, striving for complete satisfaction.
  • Provide the finishing touches to prepared dishes, ensuring impeccable presentation.
  • Handle administrative duties related to kitchen operations, including record-keeping and reporting.
  • Strictly adhere to all nutrition, sanitation, and safety regulations to maintain a hygienic and compliant work environment.
  • Maintain accurate time and payroll records for the kitchen staff.
  • Foster a positive and professional working relationship with both colleagues and customers.
Skills:
  • Proven experience as a head chef in a high-volume restaurant setting.
  • A strong track record of successful kitchen management and team leadership.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
  • The ability to delegate tasks effectively and oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • A passion for culinary trends and best practices, staying abreast of industry advancements.
  • Proficiency in various computer software programs, including MS Office, restaurant management systems, and POS terminals.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Culinary Science or a related field, or an equivalent certification.
