As a Culinary Team Leader at bartaco, here’s what you will be responsible for:

Our Culinary Team Leaders oversee the daily kitchen operations, providing professional guidance and direction to the culinary staff, ensuring that all recipes, food preparations, and presentations align with the restaurant's standards and commitment to excellence.

  • Collaborate closely with the executive chef to ensure food quality meets bartaco's high standards.
  • Create unforgettable dining experiences that surpass guest expectations.
  • Drive ongoing improvements in kitchen operations.
  • Mentor, lead, and develop your culinary team.
  • Perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ensure adherence to all bartaco standards by the team.
  • Manage shifts, including daily decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Conduct daily compliance checks, including safety and sanitation.
  • Assist with inventory management, ordering, and procurement.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace.
  • Support the hiring and training processes for all kitchen staff.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies Required:

1-3 years of experience in culinary management.

A culinary arts degree is preferred but not mandatory.

Exceptional cooking skills.

Ability to adapt and be flexible to meet team needs.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Physical Skills Required:

Able to stand for extended periods and work on your feet.

Able to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Able to work in a kitchen environment with exposure to varying temperatures.
