Job DescriptionSalary:$50,000 - 60,000 per yearThis role requires providing health services and direct care to individuals with disabilities living in a residential program. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will also provide advocacy and liaison with community healthcare providers, monitoring medical records, and medication administration.
The successful candidate will have two years of general nursing experience and/or service to individuals with developmental disabilities in a community health setting.
- The LPN will work collaboratively with the residential manager and registered nurse to assess, organize, update, and maintain health care and medication needs.
- The role involves administering medications to assigned individuals following Department of Public Health Medication Administration Program (MAP) policies and procedures.
- The LPN will also provide quality assurance reviews of medication systems and MAP compliance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A graduation from an accredited and approved licensed practical nurse program.
- A current Massachusetts Nursing license.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
