As a Compassionate Healthcare Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of individuals we serve.

You will provide quality care and support to individuals with developmental and psychiatric disabilities, ensuring their comfort, privacy, and dignity are upheld at all times.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting individuals with activities of daily living, such as grooming, bathing, feeding, and toileting
  • Providing medical care, including checking vital signs, applying creams/ointments, and administering medications
  • Maintaining accurate records and progress notes according to regulatory standards
  • Transporting individuals to medical, recreational, and other activities
  • Collaborating with the Program Director to ensure seamless delivery of services

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 1 year of experience working with people with developmental or psychiatric disabilities
  • Successful completion of a Massachusetts-approved Nursing Assistant Certification course or equivalent education
  • Current Nursing Assistant Certification in Massachusetts and commitment to maintaining active certified status
