Job Overview

The Senior Nutrition Assistant is responsible for assisting the Nutrition Site Coordinator with daily operations at congregate dining locations. This role involves packing and delivering meals on wheels, serving consumers at the dining location, and performing other duties as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as primary backup to the Nutrition Site Coordinator, supervising volunteers and HDM drivers as needed.
  • Assist with meal preparation and delivery, ensuring adherence to food handling procedures and safety regulations.
  • Recruit support staff and volunteers as necessary, maintaining effective communication with AgeSpan office staff and supervisors.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service, professionalism, and teamwork.
Qualifications
  1. High School Diploma or equivalent
  2. Excellent communication and organizational skills
  3. Valid Driver's License
  4. Ability to lift 25 pounds
