Senior Investigator for Long-Term Care Compliance

As a Senior Investigator within the Long-term Care Regulation division, you will be part of a dedicated team focused on safeguarding the health and safety of residents in Texas's intermediate care facilities. **Compensation and Benefits:**

This role offers a competitive starting salary of $79,800, along with excellent state benefits, including comprehensive health insurance and retirement plans. You will have the opportunity to travel regularly to various facilities across the state.


**Key Responsibilities:**

Under the guidance of a program manager, you will:

  • Conduct on-site inspections and complex investigations to assess compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with facility staff and stakeholders to provide information and resolve issues.
  • Prepare detailed reports outlining findings, recommended corrective actions, and narratives supporting regulatory decisions.
  • Verify the correction of previously identified regulatory violations through follow-up visits.
  • Engage in quality assurance reviews of documentation prepared by colleagues.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for field investigators.
  • Collaborate with other teams within the Long-term Care Regulation division.
  • Occasionally provide testimony in hearings or court proceedings regarding investigations and findings.
