Department Overview:

The Equal Opportunity & Title IX office collaborates with faculty, staff, and the community to foster an environment devoid of discrimination and harassment, ensuring student success in a diverse global landscape. Role Summary:

This role entails receiving, assessing, and investigating complaints related to discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and sexual misconduct from various stakeholders, including university employees and students. Additionally, the position involves delivering educational training throughout the campus.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field such as Higher Education, Political Science, or Human Resources.
  • A minimum of four years of professional experience in a related area, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Proven investigative skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of EEO/TIX/AA regulations.
  • Experience in compliance and statistical analysis.
  • Strong facilitation and presentation abilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in workforce data analysis.
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Able to cultivate and maintain professional relationships.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in investigating sexual misconduct and discrimination in higher education.
  • Demonstrated public speaking and communication proficiency.
  • Comprehensive understanding of nondiscrimination laws and compliance regulations.
  • Experience in preparing reports for Affirmative Action Plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct investigations into allegations of discrimination, harassment, and sexual misconduct, preparing detailed reports with minimal supervision.
  • Coordinate interim measures and accommodations with relevant parties.
  • Collaborate with the Dean of Students Office on Title IX-related student programs.
  • Deliver training programs on antidiscrimination and sexual misconduct across the campus.

Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM (with some remote flexibility).
