About the Role

The University of Florida seeks a highly skilled and experienced professional to serve as the Assistant Director of Accreditation and Academic Administration for the School of Physician Assistant Studies (SPAS). This key leadership position plays a crucial role in formulating and implementing policies that align with the school's strategic goals and the broader missions of the College of Medicine.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead accreditation efforts, ensuring compliance with standards and driving continuous improvement in educational practices.
  • Oversee key administrative activities related to education, school operations, finance, grants, and human resources.
  • Collaborate with the Director to develop internal reporting, data analytics, and metrics aligned with ARC-PA standards.
  • Project manage all aspects of the accreditation site visit, ensuring a well-thought-out process and timeline.
  • Supervise all business and administrative functions of SPAS, independently managing non-faculty administrative personnel.
  • Develop and establish operating procedures for SPAS consistent with the school's and director's policies/objectives.
  • Direct the formulation of the SPAS's budget and fiscal activities.
  • Collaborate with the Director on faculty recruitment strategies and initiatives.
  • Advise deans, faculty, and other stakeholders on accreditation requirements and quality improvement.
