Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and bilingual TeleSales and Retention Representative to join our team at Verda Healthcare, Inc. As a key member of our sales and customer service team, you will be responsible for selling Medicare insurance products to customers over the phone and providing exceptional customer service to ensure high levels of member satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide quality customer service to prospective members, answering their questions and addressing their concerns about Medicare insurance products.
  • Accurately explain benefits and plan options to customers, ensuring they understand their coverage and options.
  • Make outbound calls to leads to qualify prospects and schedule follow-up appointments as needed.
  • Closely follow all CMS guidelines and policies to ensure compliance.
  • Meet and/or exceed departmental KPI production standards, including quality, productivity, and adherence to schedule and attendance.
  • Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and efficient manner, resolving issues and providing solutions.
  • Participate in member calling projects to support membership retention goals.
  • Follow all appropriate Federal and State regulatory requirements and guidelines applicable to Verda Health Plan operations.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bilingual and fluent in English and one of the following languages: Chinese, Vietnamese, or Spanish.
  • 3+ years of call center or related TeleSales and/or customer service experience required.
  • 3+ years of prior experience in benefits, including Medicare Advantage Plans.
  • Experience in the healthcare, insurance, or pharmacy industry is highly desirable.
  • Ability to maintain a calm demeanor, even in charged situations.
  • Data entry and general computer skills required.
  • Effective communication (oral and written) skills.
