The Route Sales Representative is responsible for meeting customer needs through up-selling and cross-selling, while providing superior customer service by proactively managing all route responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities- Solicit new customers and ensure a profitable product mix
- Actively participate in promotions and contests, training and audits
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding customer service and route management
- Ensure customer loyalty and retention, and provide outstanding customer service
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle and maintain vehicle cleanliness
- Handle and process customer payments and maintain accurate route paperwork
- Ensure timely and correct deliveries of complete textile loads and maintain proper inventories
- Monitor and report competitive activity and keep service agreements current
- Valid driver's license and CDL when applicable
- Excellent customer service and route sales skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to comprehend and follow direction, and good time management skills
- Recognize colors, sizes and types of product and count, add and subtract accurately
- High School graduation or similar experience
