Tank Construction Field Foreman Job Summary

Maguire Iron is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tank Construction Field Foreman to lead our field crew in the erection of elevated water towers. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient completion of projects, while maintaining the highest level of quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Oversee the planning, organization, and execution of field projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of field crew members, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure their success.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure that all work meets Maguire's quality standards, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Safety Management: Develop and implement safety procedures, conduct regular safety meetings, and ensure that all team members are trained and equipped to work safely.
  • Communication: Collaborate with project managers, customers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project coordination.
Requirements:
  • Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Experience: Five years of industry experience in erecting steel structures, with a proven track record of success in project management and team leadership.
  • Certifications: Pass Maguire's weld test (certified)
  • Travel: Extensive travel required, with frequent overnight stays away from home.
Work Environment:

As a Tank Construction Field Foreman, you will spend the majority of your time in the field, working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will be required to work in a variety of weather conditions, including heat and cold, and will need to be physically fit and able to lift up to 100 pounds.
