Maguire Iron Inc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced New Tank Field Welder to join our team. As a key member of our fabrication and construction team, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to water tank construction, including welding, fabrication, and erection.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • **Welding and Fabrication**: Comprehend and ensure welding procedures are followed and performed per specifications, examining work pieces for defects to ensure conformance with specifications and recording data as required.
  • **Work Area Organization**: Keep work area organized and clean to ensure a safe environment, adhering to Maguire Iron's Personal Protective Equipment Policy and Safety Programs.
  • **Equipment Operation**: Correct malformation in parts and bends in metal work pieces, using cutting and welding equipment.
  • **Time Management**: Possess basic time management skills to complete work on-time.

**Requirements**

  • **Experience**: 3+ years of experience welding, fabrication, and erection of water tanks.
  • **Education**: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED).
  • **Skills**: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in written form, and be dependable and trustworthy.
