  • Supply Chain Management: Coordinate the procurement of necessary parts, tools, vehicles, and equipment, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
  • Shop Operations: Supervise and coordinate the activities of shop employees, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
  • Quality Control: Verify the quality of work performed by shop employees and ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Training and Development: Train and coach shop employees on equipment operation, maintenance, and repair.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with field and office staff, as well as external vendors and suppliers.
Requirements
  • Practical Knowledge: Practical knowledge of construction equipment, tools, and vehicles, including maintenance and repair.
  • Experience: Experience in a shop or construction environment, with a strong understanding of equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups and individuals.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook, with the ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Class A or B CDL: Possession of a Class A or B Commercial Driver's License.
  • OSHA Certification: Certification in OSHA requirements and regulations.
  • Strong Mechanical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, structural, and architectural details.
Work Environment

The Construction Shop Foreman will work in a fast-paced shop environment, with frequent travel to construction sites as required. The successful candidate must be able to work effectively in a team environment, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
