Job Summary

Sakata Seed America, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Account Coordinator to support the Sales Department. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, be proficient in computer applications, and have a strong ability to multitask.

Key Responsibilities
  • Resolve customer inquiries related to orders, seed releases, samples, and seed availability.
  • Provide technical product information, seed treatments, and seed enhancement options to customers.
  • Keep customer profiles updated with accurate information.
  • Work closely with the Documents/Inventory team to ensure compliance with country/state and international restrictions.
  • Perform other clerical duties, assist with reports, and complete projects as assigned by Sales Department Managers.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 3 months of sales/customer service experience preferred.
  • Experience with Inventory Software preferred.
Working Conditions
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to work at a computer terminal and on a computer keyboard for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
