POSITION OVERVIEW:

In the role of HR Operations Coordinator, you will be instrumental in facilitating the effective functioning of our Human Resources division. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of administrative functions, including the upkeep of employee documentation, support with payroll activities, and additional tasks as required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Payroll Assistance:

  • Support the preparation and execution of payroll for staff, ensuring precision and punctuality.
  • Accurately input payroll information into the system, including new hires, separations, attendance data, and other pertinent modifications.
  • Review timesheets, attendance logs, and other essential information to aid payroll computations.
  • Maintain thorough records and documentation related to payroll processes, ensuring they are systematically organized for audits or inquiries.
  • Handle sensitive employee information with the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Assist in generating payroll reports for management, HR, and finance as necessary.
  • Address payroll-related questions from employees promptly and professionally, providing support and resolving issues as needed.

Administrative Support:

  • Carry out general administrative duties such as drafting communications, scheduling appointments, and managing office supplies.
  • Provide clerical support for the HR department, including filing documents, data entry, and maintaining office organization.
  • Assist HR leadership with special projects and initiatives as directed.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 4 years of administrative experience, ideally within HR.
  • At least two years of payroll and/or accounting experience.
  • Required computer skills:

- Human Resource Information Systems

- Microsoft Office Suite

- Payroll Software

WORKING ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Frequent sitting required.
  • Frequent use of hand and finger dexterity required.
  • Frequent communication required, both verbal and auditory.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Strong organizational capabilities with the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data management and record-keeping.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS software.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information discreetly.
  • A collaborative team member with a positive outlook and eagerness to learn and develop in the position.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

  • Hourly Rate: $25-$28
