Job Title: Low Voltage Systems Technician

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Coordinate with fellow technicians to arrange on-site work schedules and guarantee prompt delivery of equipment.
  • Assist in the installation, testing, and troubleshooting of connections.
  • Conduct field testing of systems and monitor locations effectively.
  • Ensure the proper functionality of newly installed systems and components.
  • Manage low voltage cabling, conduits, and circuits.
  • Install security systems, IP cameras, and audio/video devices proficiently.
  • Execute cabling in commercial structures using various techniques.
  • Complete wiring, connections, and installations for security systems.
  • Terminate wiring cables and organize network cables appropriately.
  • Perform cable testing and routine maintenance.
  • Adhere to safety protocols concerning ladder usage and construction sites.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Valid driver's license is essential.
  • Ability to interpret technical documents and schematics.
  • Familiarity with networking, security systems, and low voltage cabling.
  • Training in ladder safety and personal protective equipment.
  • Basic computer skills are advantageous.
  • Prior experience in low voltage installation is beneficial.
EDUCATION & REQUIREMENTS:
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Any college or vocational training is a plus.
  • Low voltage certification is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
  • Experience with security camera systems is advantageous.
SCHEDULE & COMPENSATION:
  • Full-time or contract position with opportunities for advancement.
  • Day shift with potential weekend availability.
  • Travel within the state may be necessary.
  • Salary range: $750 - $1000 per week plus per diem.
