Position Overview:
As a Security Systems Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various security systems including video surveillance, access control, and intrusion alarms.

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute installation, service, configuration, and repair tasks on security and network systems.
- Develop strategies for cabling management in dynamic environments, ensuring optimal performance.
- Set up and install essential equipment such as DVRs, NVRs, PoE switches, and low-voltage power supplies.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to low voltage electrical systems, cabling, and computer hardware/software.
- Interpret and work from blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Maintain current knowledge of various security product lines and technologies.
- Manage inventory, tools, and equipment effectively.
- Complete and submit accurate documentation in a timely manner.
- Ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget constraints.
- Provide support and knowledge sharing to team members.

- Willingness to travel overnight approximately 50% of the time.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.
- Proficient in security technology, tools, and installation methods.
- Physical capability to climb ladders and work at heights.
- Self-motivated, organized, and customer-oriented.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong troubleshooting ability.
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work in various indoor and outdoor settings.
- Flexibility to work different schedules, including nights and weekends.

- Basic hand tools required.
- Military or supervisory experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with Bosch Intrusion and Mercury Hardware is advantageous.
