Project Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities:
The Project Operations Manager is tasked with the strategic planning, organization, direction, and oversight of all activities related to the task order, ensuring comprehensive management of tasks executed under contract. This role serves as the primary point of contact for all contract-related inquiries.
The Project Operations Manager is accountable for developing effective and practical systems that align with contract specifications and will act as the main liaison to the Government program manager, collaborating closely with the Contracting Officer's Technical Representative (COTR) for any contractual modifications.
Furthermore, the Project Operations Manager is responsible for guaranteeing the quality and punctuality of the deliverables, leading to process enhancements that yield cost savings and efficiencies for the Government.
This position also involves overseeing financial, contractual, project management, technical, and security aspects on behalf of the Contractor. The Project Operations Manager plays a crucial role in acquiring follow-on business related to their areas of responsibility and supports initiatives for new business development.
Required Qualifications:
Essential Qualifications
Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph
A minimum of 10 years of experience (within the last 15 years) in a program management role for a program of similar or greater size, scope, and complexity.
In lieu of a degree, candidates must possess an additional 5 years of experience in program management, totaling 15 years of mandatory experience.
Proven ability to document and present plans, schedules, and financial statuses.Demonstrated experience in direct support of the Sponsor.
Proven track record in managing the complete engineering project development lifecycle from inception to deployment.
Experience in transitioning responsibilities between entities.
Expertise in managing and controlling funds and resources.
Ability to create work breakdown structures, project schedules, and allocate resources effectively in managing assigned projects.
Experience in personnel management and conflict resolution.
PMP certification or a similar third-party project management certification.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing the SCIF accreditation process.
A Master's degree or higher in computer science, information systems, engineering, mathematics, or a related scientific or technical field.

$176,000 - $282,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
