We are seeking a highly accomplished physician leader to serve as the Chair of the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. This esteemed position offers a unique opportunity to build on a rich legacy and drive the department's forward-looking strategy to advance its clinical, research, and education missions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, driving its clinical, research, and education missions
  • Develop and implement a clear vision and strategy for the department's growth and development
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to advance the department's goals and objectives
  • Provide outstanding leadership and mentorship to faculty and staff
Requirements
  • MD, MD/PhD in psychiatry; board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in Psychiatry and, preferably, Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry
  • 5 – 7 years of administrative and leadership experience at an academic institution or cancer center, serving as a Chair or Section/Division Chief
  • Candidate must meet requirements for medical licensure in New York State
  • An actively practicing physician is preferred
Compensation

$700,000-$750,000 per year, with opportunities for supplemental performance-based pay and one-time payments
