Job Summary

The Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Psycho-Oncology Psychiatrist to join our Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. As a key member of our team, you will provide psychiatric care to cancer patients at our Manhattan locations, including outpatient care with a mix of in-person and telehealth services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide psychiatric care to cancer patients with a variety of diagnoses and stages
  • Collaborate with cancer patients and their families to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Work with a multidisciplinary team to provide consultation-liaison psychiatric services
  • Participate in teaching and research activities, including fellowship training and program development
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Board certification or eligibility in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry
  • Full and unrestricted license to practice Psychiatry in the State of New York (or eligibility for licensure in New York and New Jersey)
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent degree
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
