Customized Energy Solutions is seeking a seasoned sales and marketing leader to drive growth and innovation in our cutting-edge software tools, operational services, and consulting solutions. As a key member of our dynamic team, you will work closely with sales directors and leaders across our diverse business lines to enhance our operational and software-platform offerings in the deregulated electricity and natural gas markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead sales and marketing teams to achieve revenue and margin targets
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth and upsell to existing customers
  • Manage CES's 3-stage sales process to support deal execution and customer satisfaction
  • Stay up-to-date on deregulated electricity markets to identify sales prospects and understand business drivers
  • Collaborate with operations and development teams to provide input and feedback
  • Ensure high levels of post-sales customer satisfaction and retention
  • Support CES marketing initiatives, including events, product launches, and partner marketing activities

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience leading sales and marketing teams
  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience in high-value software services, ideally in the energy sector
  • Strong expertise in sales planning, presentations, strategic selling, and contract negotiations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of deregulated wholesale electric markets in the US and Canada
  • Familiarity with generation developers, operators, and energy utilities
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field; sales certifications are a plus
  • Track record of exceeding sales targets while ensuring customer satisfaction and integrity
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Salesforce (or similar CRM)
