Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and manage check-in/out processes efficiently.
- Adhere to all cash handling and credit card protocols as per hotel standards.
- Monitor room availability and manage house counts effectively.
- Review and address credit limit exceptions with appropriate approvals.
- Check expected departures and manage post-checkout extensions.
- Update room status in coordination with housekeeping.
- Reconcile daily activity reports at the end of your shift.
- Conduct cashier shift changes when balances are confirmed.
- Inform guests about hotel promotions and amenities during check-in.
- Engage with guests to address inquiries or concerns promptly.
- Exhibit a strong commitment to guest service through hospitality and responsiveness.
- Document any guest incidents using the appropriate reporting forms.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
- Minimum one year of experience in hospitality required.
- Strong customer service background is essential.
- Experience with cash and credit card transactions.
- Attention to detail is crucial.
- Familiarity with hotel operations and amenities.
- Knowledge of the local area, including businesses, services, and attractions.
