Job Summary:

The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in customer service and hotel operations. The Front Desk Supervisor will be responsible for providing exceptional service to guests, maximizing room revenue, and ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional service to guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maximize room revenue through effective room merchandising and upselling opportunities.
  • Ensure the front desk is staffed and operational at all times, managing the schedule and workflow of front desk agents.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of guest interactions, including complaints and feedback.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as housekeeping and food and beverage, to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Stay up-to-date on hotel policies, procedures, and promotions, communicating changes to front desk agents and other relevant staff.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge in customer service, hotel operations, and leadership.
Requirements:
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in a hotel or related field, with a strong background in customer service and hotel operations.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in a related field is a plus.
  • Previous supervisory experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to work a varied schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
