Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team at US Foods, Inc. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our customers, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth and increase revenue.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales performance, and market trends.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of sales plans and strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor activity, and product innovations to provide value-added services to customers.
Requirements
  • 1+ year of sales experience in the foodservice industry or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets.
  • Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Foodservice industry experience or culinary background.
  • Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) tools and software.
Work Environment

This role requires frequent travel to customer sites, which may involve variable weather and temperature conditions. The ability to lift up to 75 pounds and drive a motor vehicle is also required.

Compensation and Benefits

US Foods, Inc. offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary, incentive pay, and a comprehensive benefits program. The expected compensation for this role is between $61,500 and $92,250, depending on experience and location.
