Position Overview
As the Helicopter Maintenance Operations Manager, you will oversee the comprehensive management of projects and contracts, ensuring the safety and welfare of personnel, protecting company assets, and serving as the primary representative of the organization in relation to rotary wing operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and guidance under the direction of senior project management, demonstrating expertise in your designated area.
  • Proactively identify and analyze potential project challenges or opportunities, utilizing available resources to develop effective solutions.
  • Ensure the development and compliance with the project Work Breakdown Structure, Asset Management, and Workflow Management protocols.
  • Enhance the Project Execution Plan for various phases, including initiation and execution, while coordinating with the project team for implementation.
  • Regularly track and report on key performance indicators and contractual metrics.
  • Contribute to the establishment of the project organizational structure to support proposal initiatives.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of schedule objectives, key milestones, and work methodologies.
  • Establish a firm scope-based schedule baseline, ensuring it is adequately resourced and managed.
  • Review and manage key performance metrics as defined in contracts, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Consistently meet or exceed established schedule goals within your area of responsibility.
  • Oversee performance and progress against project plans, ensuring accurate forecasting and actionable plans.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to establish annual operating budgets.
  • Provide precise monthly forecasts regarding costs, schedules, and resource utilization.
  • Work alongside Business Development to expand service offerings on existing contracts.
  • Assist in contract negotiations with clients, supporting business development and management teams.
  • Conduct formal presentations to clients and management as required.
  • Lead and motivate project teams to achieve objectives.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through regular assessments and performance evaluations.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction, Project Management, Facility Management, or a related field.
  • 5 to 8 years of relevant experience, including at least three years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is recommended within three months of employment.
  • Understanding of human resources, finance, and taxation in a multinational context.
  • Familiarity with federal government service contracting processes and relevant regulations.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, along with proficiency in word processing and integrated software applications.
  • Ability to maintain a Security Clearance and willingness to travel as required.
Work Environment
The role is primarily office-based, with typical conditions that include occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds, prolonged periods of sitting while using a computer, and consistent visual and auditory engagement for communication. Candidates must demonstrate strong planning and organizational skills, along with the ability to work effectively under deadlines.
