Amentum is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Toolroom Attendant to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for receiving, stocking, controlling, and inventorying bench stock, tools, technical orders, and support equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, stock, and control bench stock, tools, technical orders, and support equipment in accordance with established procedures.
  • Issue tools, technical orders, test equipment, test measurement and diagnostic equipment (TMDE), and support equipment from the tool room, maintaining strict accountability.
  • Use automated tool accountability systems to ensure the possibility of lost equipment and tools is eliminated.
  • Perform preventative and minor maintenance on tools and support equipment.
  • Ensure tools and support equipment are clean, oiled, and serviceable.
  • Mark and identify tools and equipment for quick inventory.
  • Control calibration schedules for TMDE and ensure overdue calibration items are removed from service and sent for testing.
  • Perform Equipment Custodian duties and manage the Custodian Authorization/Custody Receipt Listing (CA/CRL).
  • Perform duties as building custodian, including escort duties, Zamboni operator, and assisting in snow removal.
  • Practice good housekeeping, tool control, FOD awareness/prevention, and safety at all times.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of applicable Government documents, directives, and technical orders is desired.
  • Knowledge of the Standard Base Supply System (SBSS), repair cycle system, and basic aircraft/engine components is required.
  • Must have procedural knowledge for handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
  • Minimum of one-year recent experience working with MIS/SBSS interface or related computer experience is required.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a United States Secret Security Clearance. Please note: US Citizenship is required to obtain/maintain a US Secret Security Clearance.
  • Must obtain/maintain a flightline Driver's License.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Fed Log system is desired.
  • May occasionally handle items that weigh in excess of 50 pounds.
