Business Development Manager

PennEngineering is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our PEM Sales Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and development in the Eastern Washington region, focusing on the datacom and telecom market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute business development strategies to drive growth and revenue in the datacom and telecom market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with OEM customers, understanding their needs and developing solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and sales, to ensure alignment and effective execution of business development initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform business development strategies.
  • Work closely with the global sales and engineering teams to coordinate engineering projects and ensure effective execution of business development initiatives.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in developing datacom/telecom business.
  • 5+ years of experience in customer relationship development and management.
  • 5+ years of experience in proven business development at OEM customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop market penetration plans and roadmaps.
  • Proven leadership skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Travel 50%+.
