Position: Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a technical intermediary among procurement, engineering, production, and suppliers
  • Develop and oversee advanced quality planning initiatives for designated suppliers
  • Review and sanction supplier quality strategies for new component projects
  • Evaluate supplier manufacturing operations and quality management systems
  • Facilitate the qualification and certification processes for components with suppliers
  • Deliver training sessions on Lean Manufacturing techniques
  • Support continuous improvement activities aimed at process and system enhancements
  • Identify and rectify supplier quality issues
  • Enhance the quality performance metrics of assigned suppliers
  • Maintain essential documentation and records
  • Assist in defining critical characteristics of components and necessary process controls
  • Collaborate with product development teams to ensure quality standards are met
Qualifications:
Education / Experience: A bachelor's degree in automotive or manufacturing disciplines with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or 8-10 years of applicable experience without a degree. Experience in supplier quality engineering is mandatory, while advanced supplier quality engineering experience is preferred.

Essential Skills:
Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, ISO standards, PRINT READING/GD&T, SPC/MSA, FMEA, ISO 9001

Desirable Skills:
Familiarity with IATF 16949, Lean Manufacturing methodologies, AIAG standards

Travel Requirements:
Willingness to travel up to 30%, with good color vision necessary.
