Quality Control Supervisor for Marine Operations

We are seeking a dedicated professional to oversee quality control processes on our fishing vessels.
The ideal candidate will possess experience in marine operations and proficiency in basic computer applications.
Primary Duties
- Conduct daily sampling of fresh fish and accurately record data using spreadsheet software
- Communicate quality control findings to both vessel management and onshore teams
- Evaluate quality control data in collaboration with onboard personnel
- Provide training to crew members on quality assurance protocols
- Support factory operations and assist with deck activities
- Complete necessary documentation, including HAACP reports and NMFS compliance
- Coordinate offloading instructions and update estimated times of arrival for shore staff
Work Environment and Schedule
- Report directly to the Captain, Mate, and Factory Supervisor
- Work schedule consists of 16.5 hours per day, 7 days a week, with longer hours during offloading periods
- Work in remote locations, utilizing protective equipment
- Engage with fish processing machinery in challenging environmental conditions
Qualifications and Benefits
- Prior experience on catcher processor vessels and USCG certification required
- Must possess a valid driver's license and a high school diploma or equivalent
