Job Summary:

Motorola Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Channel Account Manager - Video Solutions to join our team. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with our channel partners, driving sales growth, and ensuring the successful deployment of our video solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and meet territory sales objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners, providing education and support to ensure their success with our video solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales engineering, inside sales, and business development, to identify and pursue new sales opportunities.
  • Track and report on account activity, sales performance, and revenue growth.
  • Assist channel partners with order processing and returns, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of customer needs.
  • Work with channel partners to ensure their staff have received the necessary training to deploy our video solutions successfully.
  • Support the development of new markets and determination of net need with end-users through channel partners and engage commercial sales executives to close opportunities.
  • Support the territory leaders in establishing quarterly and annual sales objectives for assigned channel partners in the territory.
  • Utilize lead and project tracking software databases to track sales activities.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in sales, video, or physical security.
  • Strong technical acumen and ability to speak to our products and solutions.
  • Ability to accurately forecast revenue on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Proven record of achievement in delivering sales results and developing collaborative relationships.
  • Strong understanding of our go-to-market strategy and sales philosophy.
  • Excellent presentation, analytical, verbal, and written communication, and time management skills.
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to learn and demonstrate new software at a high level.
  • Ability to travel weekly to territory (Northern New Jersey ~ 50% travel).

Preferred Qualifications:

Established client base in the assigned territory.
