Business Development Executive

Sales Vice Presidents at Securian Financial Group play a critical role in driving business growth and success. We are seeking an experienced sales professional to join our Affinity Solutions Division and lead our sales efforts with a defined group of distribution partners.
About the RoleThe Sales Vice President will be responsible for:
- Establishing and executing effective growth and distribution business plans.
- Developing strong relationships with existing distribution partners.
- Identifying target prospects and working with distribution partners to solicit new Securian business.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Leading the Affinity Solutions sales efforts with a defined group of distribution partners.
- Collaborating with internal Securian associates to articulate client and distributor needs.
- Conducting joint sales presentations with distribution partners.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 3+ years of sales experience focused on driving new sales and meeting sales goals.
- Ability to travel independently (60-75% of the time).
- Strong initiative and leadership skills.
- Excellent time management skills.

The estimated base pay range for this job is $95,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on job-related factors and individual experience. This job may also be eligible for a performance-based incentive program.
