Job Summary

Park Lawn Memorial Group, LLC. is seeking a highly skilled Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive business growth. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, managing sales performance, and building strong relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Leadership
    • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed business targets
    • Lead and manage the sales team's performance, providing coaching, guidance, and support as needed
    • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing sales team
  • Client Relationships
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and preferences
    • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty
  • Business Development
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, developing and executing sales plans to drive growth
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments
  • Operational Management
    • Manage sales operations, including sales forecasting, budgeting, and performance reporting
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Four-year degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
    • Minimum of 2 years management experience; funeral home and/or cemetery experience desired
  • Skills and Competencies
    • Proven sales leadership and management experience
    • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues
    • Strategic thinking, planning, and execution skills
    • Results-driven, with a focus on achieving business targets
Working Conditions

This position requires regular attendance and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The physical demands of this role include sitting, standing, and walking, with occasional lifting and bending. Travel may be required, up to 10% of the time.
