About the Role:

Aspire Bakeries is a leading North American baking company with a strong presence in the specialty frozen baked goods market. We are seeking a highly skilled Talent Acquisition Professional to join our dynamic team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership and execution for corporate, intern, and co-op talent acquisition needs, as well as developing talent pipelines. This role will partner with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to enhance and execute a strategic recruiting plan, ensuring alignment within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify and source top talent through various channels, including social media, networking events, job boards, and referrals.
  • Conduct initial candidate assessments and screenings to ensure a strong match with the job requirements.
  • Develop and execute effective sourcing strategies to build a solid talent pipeline for current and future open roles within the organization.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and Human Resource Business Partners to enhance and execute a strategic recruiting plan, ensuring alignment within the organization.
  • Guide and advise hiring managers on recruiting, sourcing, and screening processes, consults on hiring decisions and offers to candidates.
  • Engage managers with hiring and employment data around candidate pipeline availability, market compensation trends, sourcing, interview, and selection tools.
  • Develop a recruitment strategy focused on job posting optimization, recruiting marketing development, digital and non-digital social media marketing, comprehensive recruitment campaign planning.
  • Conduct preliminary interviews with candidates to gauge interest, role, and culture fit, and salary requirements.
  • Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation of recruitment activity within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) for management reference or ad hoc reporting.
  • Create an exceptional experience for all candidates by maintaining relationships and communicating regularly.
  • Partner with HR and business leaders to support workforce planning efforts in identifying future talent needs.
  • Develop a strategy to drive improvement of the candidate experience and manage candidate communities.
  • Act as a culture champion helping build upon our existing culture and create an engaging talent attraction experience for all potential candidates.

Requirements:

  • An Associate or Bachelor's degree is required.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a strategic talent acquisition role is required. Experience in the food manufacturing or CPG industry is preferred.
  • Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices, as well as applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including requirements for federal contractors (e.g., OFCCP compliance).
  • Proven sourcing expertise including knowledge and practical experience with recruitment tools including applicant tracking system(s), LinkedIn, and other social media platforms.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills with a proven record of collaboration cross-functionally.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills with a consistent record of delivering results.
  • Adaptable and flexible with the ability to work well under pressure and in challenging situations.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, SuccessFactors, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed Smart Sourcing is preferred.
