We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Talent Acquisition Manager to join our team at SourcePro Search, LLC. This role will be based in our Los Angeles office and will support the lateral partner recruiting efforts for our top-ranked global law firm client.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing relationships with search firms, counterparts in other firms, and others to identify desirable candidates and obtain competitive intelligence. This position will collaborate both internally and externally to develop successful tactics for making the initial contact with potential candidates and determining the appropriate approach for successful recruitment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Firm management in defining and executing Partner recruiting strategies;
  • Develop and manage relationships with preferred search firms to promote the Firm and lateral opportunities;
  • Draft initial candidate proposal documentation and Partner offer letters;
  • Conduct research and analysis, and convey relevant findings on market trends, recruiting opportunities, and Firm recruiting performance as it relates to Partner level hiring;
  • Serve as primary point of contact for Partner candidates and search firms throughout the hiring process;
  • Coordinate and manage in-office interview schedules for Partner candidates and internal interviewers;
  • Develop relationships with internal colleagues, including the Chief Diversity Officer, as well as with colleagues at peer firms to keep abreast of trends and other market intelligence.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required;
  • 6+ years recruiting experience in a mid-size plus law firm, preferably with multi-office experience and in support of senior level associate and/or partner-level lateral hiring;
  • Excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills;
  • Demonstrable analytical skills and general business acumen;
  • Ability to meet deadlines and multi-task in a fast-paced, professional services environment;
  • Proactive and positive work style.
