Key Responsibilities

This role involves:

  • ">
  • Providing event logging and recording of centrally managed law enforcement radio monitoring;

    ">
  • Monitoring intrusion detection systems, making required notifications, and dispatching appropriate personnel;

    ">
  • Conducting incident reporting;

    ">
  • Utilizing investigative databases;

    ">
  • Receiving and processing emergency and routine calls;

    ">

Requirements

">

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • ">
  • A high school diploma or equivalent;

    ">
  • Citizenship of the United States of America;

    ">
  • Strong computer and data entry skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications;

    ">
  • The ability to sit for extended periods while monitoring multiple computer monitors;

    ">
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills;

    ">
  • The ability to work under highly stressful situations and maintain professionalism;

    ">
  • A typing speed of at least 45 words per minute;

    ">
  • The ability to hear ordinary telephone and radio conversations with either ear;

    ">
  • Prior experience with alarm monitoring and computer-aided dispatch (CAD) software is desirable.

    ">
  • You must meet the requirements of an Entry-Level Dispatcher or possess two years of law enforcement dispatch experience.

    ">
  • Must have received above-average performance ratings as measured by the supplier's performance rating system.
