Role: Unix Systems Administrator

Experience Required: 5 - 12 years

Work Mode: 5 days in-office, rotational shifts

Key Responsibilities:

The Unix L3 Administrator will oversee the installation, configuration, and upkeep of Unix systems. Responsibilities include managing user accounts, file systems, and network services, as well as troubleshooting and resolving intricate system issues.

  • Install, configure, and maintain Unix systems.
  • Manage user accounts, file systems, and network services.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues.
  • Provide technical support to users.
  • Stay informed about the latest Unix technologies and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Unix system administrator.
  • Strong understanding of Unix operating systems, including Linux and Solaris.
  • Familiarity with Unix system administration tools and utilities, such as vi, sed, awk, and grep.
  • Experience with scripting languages, such as Perl or Python.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
