Overview:

The Unix L1/L2 Administrator plays a crucial role in the deployment, configuration, and upkeep of Unix systems. This encompasses the management of user accounts, file systems, and network services. The L3 Administrator is also tasked with diagnosing and resolving intricate system challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deploy, configure, and maintain Unix systems
  • Oversee user accounts, file systems, and network services
  • Diagnose and resolve intricate system challenges
  • Provide technical assistance to users
  • Keep abreast of the latest Unix technologies and industry best practices

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Unix system administrator
  • In-depth knowledge of Unix operating systems, including Linux and Solaris
  • Proficiency with Unix system administration tools and utilities, such as vi, sed, awk, and grep
  • Familiarity with scripting languages, such as Perl or Python
  • Proven experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex system issues
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
