Role Overview:

As a Windows Administrator, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting cross-platform audits of Active Directory (AD) objects and user permissions.
  • Providing architecture, administration, installation, optimization, and troubleshooting for Windows server systems.
  • Managing user accounts across Windows and UNIX platforms, including creation, deletion, permissions, and VPN access.
  • Developing organizational units in Active Directory and managing user security through group policies.
  • Administering Group Policy Objects (GPOs) throughout the Active Directory environment.
  • Creating and maintaining email addresses and distribution lists in MS Exchange.
  • Assisting technical writers with IT onboarding manuals and preparing data for system enhancement reports.
  • Executing Active Directory consolidation projects for various global clients.
  • Administering DNS, DHCP, and WINS services.
  • Providing Level 3 support for Active Directory-related issues.
  • Transitioning users from multiple legacy domains into a unified IT infrastructure.
  • Collaborating with Microsoft to identify risks and implement remediation strategies.

Key Skills Required:

  • Proficient scripting knowledge in PowerShell, Batch, and VBScript.
  • Experience with intra and inter-forest Active Directory migrations.
  • Strong understanding of Active Directory assessment and migration tools.
  • Ability to evaluate Active Directory environments and present findings to stakeholders.
  • In-depth knowledge of Active Directory in multi-forest environments.
  • Familiarity with centralized Identity Management tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Qualifications:

To qualify for this role, candidates should possess:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
