People First Federal Credit Union is seeking a Senior Technology Executive to oversee our Information Technology division and guide our technological vision. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for defining the strategic direction for all technology-related projects within the organization. Collaboration with fellow executives will be essential to ensure that our technological objectives are in harmony with business goals while maintaining secure, efficient, and effective systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

· Formulating and executing a holistic IT strategy that aligns with organizational objectives.

· Managing the IT financial plan and ensuring optimal resource allocation.

· Supervising the creation, execution, and upkeep of all technological systems and applications.

· Leading digital transformation efforts to improve member experiences, enhance operational workflows, and boost efficiency. Identifying and deploying innovative technologies and solutions, including online and mobile banking, digital payment systems, and automation, to elevate member engagement and satisfaction.

· Ensuring the security, resilience, and regulatory compliance of our technological infrastructure.

· Upholding compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, particularly concerning data privacy, protection, and financial regulations.

· Crafting and implementing robust information security strategies, practices, and controls to safeguard member data, systems, and digital assets. Staying informed about emerging threats, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements related to cybersecurity. Conducting risk assessments and coordinating incident response as necessary.

· Leading a team of IT professionals while fostering a culture of innovation, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will possess a proven history of success in a senior IT leadership position, with a background in the financial services sector required . A deep understanding of IT strategy, architecture, and operations, along with expertise in cybersecurity and risk management, is essential.

  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal capabilities.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity, risk management, and compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience in driving digital transformation, including the implementation and integration of new technologies and solutions.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficient vendor management and contract negotiation skills.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of formal training and experience. (Master's degree preferred)
  • At least ten years of Information Technology and leadership experience in a Credit Union or similar financial institution.
  • In-depth knowledge of Credit Union products and applicable policies and standards.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit, stand, twist, turn, bend, stoop, kneel, and push/pull.
  • Repetitive movements of wrists, neck, and fingers.
  • Capability to reach above head and climb as needed (step ladder).
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.

Work Environment:

  • Standard office setting.

Travel Requirements:

  • Occasional travel to branch locations and/or participation in seminars.
