Job Overview:


This role requires a valid certification from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, enabling the individual to perform nursing assistant duties at a proficient level. The primary responsibility is to deliver direct care to residents within a County nursing home facility during assigned shifts.

The position involves providing personal care to residents, executing designated tasks, and ensuring a safe and hygienic environment.

Supervision and work reviews are conducted by higher-level nursing personnel, with reporting to a supervisory nursing role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver compassionate personal care to residents.
  • Execute daily tasks while adhering to safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Monitor and assess residents' conditions and report findings.
  • Maintain accurate records as required.
  • Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary team.

Required Skills:
  • Understanding of accepted standards and techniques in resident care.
  • Ability to perform Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) for residents with limited self-assistance.
  • Knowledge of Universal Precautions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Empathy and creativity in addressing the needs of senior residents, particularly those with dementia.

Work Schedule:
Full Time, Regular Part Time & Part Time (Per Diem)

Day Shift - 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Evening Shift - 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM ($2.00/hr shift differential)
Night Shift - 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM ($.75/hr shift differential) $2.00/hr weekend differential.

Part Time (Per Diem) competitive hourly rates starting at $23.17/hr (rates based on PT position and shift)


All shifts available: 7-3, 3-11, and 11-7 Weekend Program 48/52 weekends, 8-hour shifts rates for weekend program: 7-3- $27.98/hr 3-11- $30.14/hr 11-7- $29.06/hr

Additional $1.50/hr for 5+ Years of CNA Certification.

A current Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Certificate issued by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, along with six (6) courses focused on Care of the Dementia Resident, is mandatory.
