Vice President of Federal Sales

Join a leading Defense software company as a Vice President of Federal Sales. This role is based in Washington, DC and is a full-time, onsite position with a competitive salary range of $180k - $200k.
The organization is actively seeking experienced candidates at the Director and Vice President levels to bolster their expanding sales team. With a recent product launch, they are poised for significant growth and are looking to establish a strong foothold in defense acquisition solutions.
Applicants must possess a robust background in Department of Defense (DoD) sales, which will be a critical factor in the selection process. The role requires approximately 50% travel, contingent on client needs.
Experience in Software as a Service (SaaS) and a passion for engaging within the DoD sector are essential qualities for the ideal candidate.
This position is pivotal in advancing the development of an innovative AI application aimed at enhancing federal production capabilities.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 7+ years of technical sales experience, primarily in SaaS
- Proven track record in developing new business accounts
- Able to thrive in a high-pressure environment with excellent communication skills
- Sales experience related to the DoD
Preferred Qualifications:
- Security Clearance
- Familiarity with Salesforce CRM
