Job Overview

1. Administrative Responsibilities

· Uphold high standards of guest service quality.

· Strive to meet budgeted financial targets while optimizing profitability in the guest services sector.

· Formulate both short-term and long-term financial and operational strategies for the guest services division that align with the hotel's overarching goals.

· Contribute to the annual budget planning for the hotel.

· Enhance guest satisfaction levels by delivering exceptional service through effective employee training and development.

· Oversee the reservation system to ensure maximum room occupancy and optimal average daily rates through proactive selling techniques by team members.

· Ensure proper procedures are in place for credit management, financial transactions, and the safeguarding of financial assets and guest information.

· Address and resolve guest inquiries, complaints, or issues promptly and courteously.

· Proficiently utilize various office and accounting software applications.

2. Support Functions

· Possess a thorough understanding of the English language to facilitate effective communication with guests, staff, and suppliers.

· Capable of assisting in the creation and compilation of statistical reports and presentations as required.

· Demonstrate accuracy in reporting information.

· Provide assistance with various tasks within the accounting department as necessary.

· Rigorously adhere to all policies and procedures established by StepStone and the hotel.

· Participate in mandatory meetings.

Requirements:

5. Essential Qualifications for All Associates:

· Ability to lift a minimum of 20 pounds.

· Capable of pushing, bending, stooping, reaching upwards, and demonstrating manual dexterity.

· Proficient in hearing, writing, and typing.

· Ability to pull a minimum of 20 pounds.

· Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.

Specific Responsibilities for This Role Include:

· Comprehensive knowledge of all hotel departments and their functions is required.

· Strong mathematical and computer skills are essential.

· A high school diploma is required; relevant training and experience, along with further education, are preferred.

· CPR and first aid certification is preferred.

· Proficiency in additional languages is preferred.
