Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Aimbridge Hospitality. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for planning and directing food preparation in our kitchens.

This is a management-level position that requires strong leadership and organizational skills. You will work closely with our Executive Chef to ensure that our kitchen operations are running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and direct food preparation in our kitchens
  • Manage kitchen staff and ensure that they are trained to adhere to our restaurant's policies and sanitation regulations
  • Organize schedules and direct the work of the kitchen staff to ensure that kitchen operations are carried out quickly and effectively
  • Design and implement menus that reflect our restaurant's overall vision
  • Ensure that hygiene and food safety requirements are met
  • Manage kitchen inventory and assigned budget
  • Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly and service-oriented manner
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming
  • Comply with certification requirements as applicable for position
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and 2 to 4 years of experience in a high-volume full-service restaurant
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
  • Proficient in Windows Operating Systems and Company-approved spreadsheets and word processing
  • Ability to convey information and ideas clearly
  • Ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
  • Ability to work well in stressful and high-pressure situations
