Job Summary:

Talent Up Recruiting, LLC is seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team and oversee the daily operations of our kitchen. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food, maintaining a clean and safe working environment, and driving customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee kitchen operations, including food preparation, presentation, and service.
  • Manage kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
  • Monitor food costs, inventory, and supplies, and implement cost-saving measures as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Develop and implement procedures for waste management and maintain records of food production and kitchen operations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise in the kitchen, including equipment malfunctions and staff conflicts.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Kitchen Manager or similar role, with a proven track record of success.
  • Degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, or Restaurant Management preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to delegate tasks and motivate staff.
  • Excellent time management and organization skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Food safety knowledge and understanding of sanitation regulations.
  • Hands-on experience with various kitchen equipment, including grills, fryers, and other cooking appliances.
