Key Responsibilities:
  • Formulate and implement strategic sales initiatives to meet company growth targets within the structural racking market.
  • Identify and pursue new account opportunities while nurturing and expanding relationships with current clients.
  • Work collaboratively with engineering and product development teams to tailor solutions that address client requirements and adhere to industry standards.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to remain updated on competitive dynamics, industry developments, and customer preferences.
  • Prepare and present persuasive sales proposals and presentations to key stakeholders.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with national accounts, ensuring favorable terms that align with corporate objectives.
  • Track sales performance metrics, generate regular reports, and provide accurate forecasts to senior leadership.
  • Serve as a trusted consultant to clients, offering expert advice on structural racking solutions and industry best practices.
  • Represent the organization at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote offerings and cultivate professional networks.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, sales, engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • Demonstrated success in national account sales, with at least 10 years of experience in the structural racking sector.
  • Comprehensive understanding of structural racking systems, including design principles, installation procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills with a proven ability to close significant deals and meet sales objectives.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities, capable of effectively conveying technical information.
  • Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools, particularly Epicor and Salesforce.
  • Strategic mindset with robust analytical skills, able to derive actionable insights from market data.
  • Willingness to travel nationally as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certifications or training related to structural racking systems.
